Just lost my job about 2 weeks ago, and today I received news that the truck I bought with my last job that the engine is blown and about an 1800 dollar repair, and in the midst of what seems like everything I worked for is falling apart and fading away, I choose to say thank you Jesus! Thank you for reminding me. I've been this shy kid that never talked or even smiled. I was just expressionless. But over the years I've heard people in a way criticising me for always looking grumpy or hard to talk to. From there I've tried and did my best to change to open up and smile when I can but people still choose to say I look mad and such and such comments. I've felt bad because I literally am doing what people have been telling me to change. Most times people don't smile back or greet me back. Now I'm at the point where I'm thinking that I should go back to how I was before. But thankfully Sidewalk Prophets have reminded me to choose joy because there's always a reason to. From here on out, I'm going to keep smiling and choose to be happy then to let people's judgement tear me down. 🙏

I got badly harassed for my disability today. Then i discovered this song. Made me so happy. I love it! I would really appreciate prayers.
Edit: I’ve decided to hold a talk at my university where I talk about invisible disabilities and the importance of service dogs. I am also going to talk about accepting people for who they are and the importance of kind words since that has been lost it seems in society now when someone comments I just smile and play this song in my mind.
