Wow! Just wow. David, I took OTA’s free introduction class in Bellevue, Washington. they were very aggressive about getting on and wanted $500 for the next steps, but only in cash. Like it said the rep trying to sell me told me she was a trader and making a lot of money. Just crazy. Wow.

I took the review class for 300.00 and it's scam. The instructor would talk to one of his scammer and talk about profitable trades within earshot of the entire class. Then they sit you in the office and pitch a product that is over $30, 000. Lucky for me I only lost 300.00. The class is a non stop sales pitch and lots of bragging about big money making trades.

to be fair, you'll never find anyone teaching you to be a successful trader for free. ..you will have to pay someone, someday... otherwise if you dont, have fun staying poor. nobody owes you anything for free and if youre waiting for the 'free' guru, then again, have fun staying poor... the game is sold, not told. its just truth if you dont like it, thats fine you dont have to like it.

I agree with you because we have a online trading academy in Austin tx and I think that they are fraud too cause I wanted to learn how to trade and when they were saying ok we needed to to make appointments we would have to 100 dollars and never had gotten a call at all so yes I feel like they are a fraud.

Signing up with OTA turned out to be the most embarrassing decision I’ve ever made, and I’ve got a strong top 10. If any comment can stop you, let it be this one.

I got lucky... they only took me for $4, 000 before I realized what they were doing and questioned the local schools management. Once I started asking questions they completely cut off communication with me and refused to take my calls. I stopped making my $700/month payments and they turned me over to the credit bureaus. I recently checked my credit report and negative reporting has since been removed. I hope the owners and managers of each franchise are sent to prison for doing what they have done to people and made to pay restitution. Thank you for posting this!!

Bravo, David! I actually took the one day free seminar from OTA, and went in to be pitched on their "courses." It took me a few days, but I eventually sniffed them out as a likely fraud. Now I see that I was absolutely right! And you are certainly right about "sharks:" I've spent most of my career in high-end capital equipment and software sales, and those OTA guys are certainly powerful, skilled salespeople. Anyhow, I took a pass on their pitch.


So the yours is still the only trading education course I've ever bought, and as you'd expect, I'm definitely profitable on both your course and your tips. Thanks again!

I sign up and I am paying $600.00 dollars a month for a class that don't does nothing for me how can I stop this

Just finished the 3 days class in nyc . Really enjoyed the class, students and the instructions David l and staff but they ask to pay almost 30k . I have to stop and begin to do research about OTA . Thank you for your info . Why would they ask for the reticulate amount of money

Yeah and You Tube needs to clean up their act as well - I mean just because I watch a lot of financial videos I get bombarded by Ross Cameron and Jason Bond ads - You Tube knows these are obvious scams and needs to shut them down and yes I am saying that Scam artists should not be allowed to advertise on YouTube

There is plenty of free content available online, so there is no reason to EVER pay for anything paid trading related stuff. I do believe that its possible to make money with day trading and that you can do that without signing up to any trading course.
