How do you add nutrients in water....i mean what are needed to add in water?for proper growth

They did this years and years ago with terra cotta. 20 cm high and you could put them on one and other. Way better then plastic. Plastic is a bit toxic. It will go into the plant. Although slowly. Quicker when it is warmer.

You could buy those Terra Cotta pots back then. Never seen them again. 25 years ago this was a hype maybe ? But that idea was actually very good. Natural materials are always better then plastic. They looked a lot like your plastic ones. Also the terra cotta material stayed moist. Also a good thing. Except after a shtf and water is scares. A lot of people back then also filled them up with soil. And put 10 pieces on to each other. There was also a much larger one that was used as the base.

If the plant has an acidic characteristics, does the plastic leach into the plants during the growing phrase...

Hahaha I grow more basil in one grow bag than that whole tower makes. That tower is what $300+ and you grew $50 worth of basil. Plus water a nutrients. Didn't accomplish anything with this.
