FREE Hershey Chocolate Factory Tour | Hershey, PA

I was in Pennsylvania with my parents for my cousin's wedding and we made a side trip to the Hershey Chocolate Factory to check out their free tour. It was informative and fun. Highly recommend it for families and all chocolate lovers.

The tour is free and takes about 10 minutes. Including lunch, we spent about 2 hours there. We hear the line is much longer in the summer, so it looks like Fall or Winter may be the best time to go.

Thanks to my parents for driving! Thanks to my cousin for giving us an excuse to go to Pennsylvania! And thanks to my uncle for having a birthday so we could buy him that giant Hershey bar (which was shared with the entire family and is the reason this didn't get uploaded right away - we didn't want to spoil the surprise).

I can smell that great big chocolate bar from here! I meant that was awesome to visit not to mention the tasty samples LOL. In any rate it looks like the sun was out and you had other things to do so I prayed to God that you're big chocolate bar did not melt. Safe travels!

I remember going to the chocolate factory for a field trip in grade school back in the early 60s. The main thing that stood out to me was the wonderful smell

They used to have actual tours but Hershey changed that in the 70s to protect their processing procedures.
