I have got Tucson Hybrid 1.6 Turbocharged. It runs fast and really nice

Was just driving one the other day, let’s just say overtaking on the highway or a backroad takes some planning lol.

Any chance you can do an economy run on a couple of petrol / diesel cars? Mixed driving in city / highway, just to compare to the factory estimates that they put on the windscreen stickers. I'm not sure what economy I'm supposed to get out of my 2017 Kia Optima GDI, but combined city / hwy gets me between 6.5lt per 100km and 7.0lt per 100km. Highway driving only can get as low as 5.3lts per 100km...

192nm of torque, thats absolutely tiny!

Nearly as fast as a Subaru Xv 2.0. And most owners drive like they think they’re in a race car like every MG driver.

At the very least should have used the 2 5 na from the previous gen sonata or for added spice drop the V6 from the Sorrento

Given the price of these on top of the fact they are medium cars, a piss weak 2.0 NA should not even be an option for it. The 1.6T should be standard if they don’t even have the decency to have a 2.5L NA which is a more appropriate engine for anything bigger than a $25k base model i30 small hatchback.

11.30 seconds 0-100 seems awfully slow for the new model. i have the 2017 and clocked the 10 second mark.

If I'm not mistaken every N Line car is a turbo except this.

Hyundai should put 2.5 L engine in this car. 2.0 L too underpowered 0-100 in 11.05s is slowest crossover in the market 😂

I hate slow cars with sporty design. Toyota Corolla GR-S Hybrid, for example; looks sporty, but it's only got 122 hp and it's even slower than this stupid Hyundai. I like cars that are fast, but look inconspicuous.

Damn this model Tucson really doesn't come with a decent engine choice. This is slow af, the 1.6 turbo isn't much better, not even a second quicker. The diesel is bit better, around 9 seconds, but I don't partciularly want a diesel....CX-5 2.5 turbo or Tiguan 162tsi a much better option I reckon.

This car would be good for an L plater or someone who has a fear of fast accelerating objects
