Budd Boetticher's Westerns with Randolph Scott are so good, it's difficult choosing a favorite. Sometimes it's The Tall T, sometimes Seven Men From Now, sometimes Ride Lonesome, etc.
I'm glad to see the Ranown cycle get a shoutout from Scorsese.

Ironic, literally watched this yesterday. Awesome flick. Tightly plotted, very well acted - just a very efficient and effect little western. Boone and Silva play such great villains in this.
