I wish Jawa all the luck. They look cool and have history and charm. Remember when the RE Himalayan came out? All the issues and complaints. And now look at Royal Enfield. They just can't make a bad bike. There's something for everyone. And no stopping them. Go Jawa!!

Nice tour around part of Lithuania. Nice to see the Jawa name making a resurgence. Well done 🤓 ❤

Since Jawa has been revived in India, maybe they'll eventually be able to do what RE did and make bikes worthy of export. Currently they sell 4 models. Two classic and two bobber styles.
Edit: They original company is still manufacturing. It's been brought back to Indian market by Mahindra & Mahindra.

I love the idea of a big, big single like this one. I wish a major brand would make one for us in the USA. I rode my 1970 BSA Victor all winter in Bozeman, Montana, my senior year in college, and I just love that big single sound and power. I'm ready for a new version, with an electric start for old farts like me.

These look great bikes - look forward to them taking off in the UK. Re the battery problem - I have seen several instances of other new bikes experience similar problems.

My friend bought a Jawa 250 Motocross bike from the Local Boat Dealership. It was fast ..I think it cost like $600.00 new in like 1976 or so .

Someone address to a confusion: Jawa came to India way back in the 60s. And Farokh Irani bought it under the name. He created Ideal Yezdi which used to sell, Jawa under licence and in 1973 it became Yezdi. But it stopped completely in 1993. But it was revived by Classic Legends Private Limited a subsidiary of Mahindra & Mahindra in 2018. Not only they bought Jawa but also bought and relaunched BSA and gave rebirth to Yezdi.
Now Mahindra went completely classic with BSA keeping its legacy not changing much to it. And launching it with its old looks, refining a bit but changing its engines with Mahindra's I guess. They wanted to keep it purely classic.
With Jawa they went in a different route. They mixed the classic looks with modern ergonomics and Mahindra's engines like the engine from its model called Mojo. They launched models like JAWA 42 or JAWA 42 FJ. Completely new design like the 42 Bobber or Perak. And then the pure classic 300 or 650. With Yezdi it was completely different as it was originally Indian, based in Mysore but just manufactured licenced Jawa's. They were a completely new company under the ageis of Mahindra and with a complete new design philosophy of Modernity they launched 3 models a Scrambler with the name Scrambler an Adventurer with the name Adventure and a Tourer with the name Roadster.

So Mahindra & Mahindra's subsidiary Classic Legends Private Limited revived three dead companies.
1. BSA (originally British now Indian)
2. Yezdi (Originally Indian now Indian)
3. Jawa (originally Czech but now I don't know, I got confused whether it's Indian or still Czech or a mix of India and Czech?)

whats the scenario with Jawa?
