KwaZulu-Natal's hospitality industry is optimistic they will enjoy a positive Easter long weekend. The industry was impacted by beach closures during December's busy festive season.
In 2022, many beaches closed to bathers because of high E.coli levels.
This followed damage to critical water and sewage infrastructure in the eThekwini municipality, following the floods in April and May.
