This just reminded me, about something... A couple of years ago when the Rhein flooded onto the footpath, I went for a walk just after the flood water went down and a crab walked past my feet, that was in the centre of Bonn on the Beuel side. Then a couple of days later I went for a walk where the Sieg river joins the Rhein and there were a couple more crabs that were on the fields there. I never know that the Rhein had crabs living in it.
