Kurt Fischer: Education for Global Understanding / Ross Institute Summer Academy 2011

Dr. Kurt Fischer, a former Scholar in Residence at Ross School and Director of the Mind, Brain and Education program at Harvard Graduate School of Education, collaborated with Ross School during the 2009--2010 school year on a research project to collect interview-based data from Ross students to learn from the Ross curriculum about the development of 'cosmopolitanism' or global consciousness. Dr. Fischer presents the results of this study to date and engages Ross educators to think about how this informs curriculum, instruction and assessment at Ross.
