Wow, I have a 16 foot fiberglass, decked out for bass fishing with a Johnson 25 hp 3 cylinder 2 stock and get 27 mph. And I'm thrilled at that. Nice boat Mark. Love watching your videos.

70 is fast for a Ranger, they’ve never been known for there speed but more so for ride back in my tournament days. Very nice boat for sure. 👍

Ranger isn’t for speed but is the best looking and have one of the best rides by far.

I have a 2017 Ranger Z519C with a 225 Merc. With the the right trim and jackplate height, I've topped out at 71 mph twice on local lakes. But I mostly fish the California Delta and will never go faster than 45 mph trying navigate those waterways. And just like you said "I like my health". 🤣 But it is also for the safety of other boaters on the water too.

What do you consider a safe speed to run during calm conditions, and thanks for doing this video. I don't own a bass boat, but I do a lot of tournaments as a Co angler, and their have been times that I was scared for my life because the boater was driving too fast and I almost got thrown out. Life of a co angler...lol

Yea people are showing all kinds of stuff but the video is cut all up they got video of it loaded down then it is cut to probably a empty boat they running with a prop they have dun had built specifically for the boat and motor they running and still only showing 76-80 so yeah they can blow that money for all of it but 65-70 mph is already so fast if something happens there’s a 75% chance you gone don’t collect 500$ don’t get a reroll nothing so yeah you don’t need anything faster family is only thing there is forever in life and as bad as you don’t won’t to keep them around I promise they won’t you around more than that god bless y’all brother great video keep on reeling them in
