Rob Rinder says offering a home to those most vulnerable is the “essence” of British values, as the government plans to ask the British public to open their homes to Ukrainians fleeing the fighting in their country.

Rob: “Ukrainians need to be able to fly here and offered sanctuary that’s easy to access. We are linked with the Ukrainian people with our past, our present and our future.”

Levelling Up Secretary Michael Gove will set out on Monday details of a new “sponsored” humanitarian route to allow Ukrainians without family links to the UK to come to the country.

Nobody would wish to see disenfranchised people, being subjugated by war ..

In UK, We have been subjected to world wide infiltration of our quite ligitimate, national borders ...no checks, no law, no recompense.

Ukraine people, have quite ligitimate borders, cultural and language speaking.

Why? When in UK, we have our borders violated and yet our OWN homeless are ignored ...why would I, as a HUMANE citizen of England, want to admit MORE people, when we cant seem to care for our own????
