Great video. Agree with you about Microsoft. Too many times with too many things they have left me high and dry. I still have my original Duo that I got at a great bargain basement price but don't use it as a phone anymore. Basically it's my new Kindle reader. Enjoying my Z Fold 3 as my everyday carry phone.

The software experience absolutely kills the duo. I absolutely love the hardware and their take on foldable phones. However, the buggy software and poor battery life ruins it for me. The duo warrants a funeral 🤣

I bought the Duo one because I got a killer deal on it. I figured if it sucked I could use it for notes and reading books. When I got it, it was running windows 10. Now it is running windows 11 and has had a few system updates. Since those updates it is running pretty darn good.

Now I agree from launch and what they were asking for the phone, it was a flop. But now you can find one for $200-300 bucks. Paired with a smart watch and ear buds this could be a daily driver now.

The build quality is far better than any other foldable phone out there. The camera is mediocre and the form factor using it without Bluetooth of some sort is weird. But it's running pretty good. Battery is good, multitasking is awesome, dual screens are wonderful and the build quality is superb.

This may be worth a second look for a follow up review after using it and giving it a chance. Yes as a $1400 phone it was trash but for a $300 phone and after the support they promised actually being followed up on, it's pretty good.

I still don't use it daily but I flop back and forth between my Z flip 3 and the duo from time to time. And I actually enjoy it other than the camera is a chore to use

Man you better SAY IT!! I was one of the first ones to get the Surface one. This has been a hustle from day one. I’m actually surprised that there is not a lawsuit. I played three card Molly with Microsoft and got played like a MARK.

All those big name tech reviewers intentionally avoid the Garbage Battery Disaster of Surface devices, what a shame and respect to this channel for not being corrupt like the big name reviewers!

I purchased the surface duo 1 last year on sale for $599 and returned that crap less then 14days.

The screen was great, the build was great, the concept was great but it was too buggy and I had to reboot it everyday multiple times

Microsoft should have stuck with windows. I mean tablets, android tablets are hardly optimised so what about a newish form factor. Smells like a tech fail waiting to happen.

The poor design of the USB-C port, which I have repaired 8 times in the last year, makes this an unusable device 16 months after paying $1500. I understand some people are OK carrying 2 phones. I am not.

My Duo broke week after I bought it for $789, left screen went crazy, bright Green with White Lightning lines. Refunded.

The bugs, lack of support are really impossible to defend. It's a beautiful piece of hardware though and if it had the right software it would be the best phone on the market.

I agree with you, the ONE NUMBER SOFTWARE COMPANY can't get SOFTWARE right, like you said, why in the world would you release it with Janky performance, trying to be a power player in the mobile world LOL 🤣Only way to KINDA OF fix the situation is to go from Android 11 on the Duo this month then by least the Summer make Android 12 L a super enjoyable experience.
