It's Pride Month amid a major backlash against LGBTQ+ people. How did we get here?

While polls show acceptance is at an all-time high, legislation targeting LGBTQ+ rights across the U.S. is more prevalent than ever before.

Stop twisting things. There is no pushback against the people of the pride movement. They're accepted. There is pushback because the movement itself is absolutely out of control it's starting to get deranged at this point.

You know, i wish i could explain for you, what it must be like, growing up & realizing that you might be gay, or even another sex entirely, but i can't. I can only imagine that because of all the hate they hear from others & being told something is just not 'natural' about them, that frankly, the LAST thing anybody would actually choose for themselves, is to be gay or trans. So those of you who just act like its just some kind of a fad, or simply deciding - 'oh, i think i'll be gay this month, ' - just for attention - or whatever; is frankly, ridiculous. Why would anybody just willy nilly CHOOSE to be someone whom so many consider a pariah? But for those of you who seem to think it can be caught like the common measles, no, nobody can just 'catch' gay or trans & frankly those of you still unwilling to let people just be themselves, well, maybe u can get them, so your bigotry can be readily spotted, bcuz you are now among only 9% of the populace & must be some of the most miserable people in the country?
