Essential supplies airlifted to Tonga

The Australian Defence Force is supporting the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT)-led effort to support the Government of Tonga following the eruption of Tonga's Hunga Tonga-Hunga Ha'apai underwater volcano on 15 January.

The Australian Defence Force contribution, named Operation TONGA ASSIST 22, includes air reconnaissance using P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft, airlift support using C-17A Globemaster III and C-130J Hercules transport aircraft, as well as the deployment of HMAS Adelaide with embarked supplies, helicopters and Army engineer contingent.

The C130's and C17's are some of the best platforms we have for this work - the RAAF are a professional team with good equipment, helping others in need - this is the Australian way... Well done team, proud of the work and how you represent us to the world.

I copied the URL from a Google search of what an actual C-17 looks like, and it was removed 9 times in a row, in less than thirty seconds each time. C-17's have JET engines, and see-through GLASS windows!

Why did they show a scale model of a C-17? The props are barely turning, and the windows are painted black. Stop going through life drunk and in a dream people. LOOK! 0:43
