The worst part is, Patton’s way of dealing with the dark sides is so toxic that honestly, this type of thing happening in the canon series is so plausible I might even call it probable. Deceit and Logan would probably partner up to shut down that kind of behaviour instantly, but Remus and Deceit are both representative of something so bad in the catholic faith that Patton, who is principled around that due to Thomas’s religious upbringing, would see a bad thing and want to fix it or get rid of it. The bad thing, in this instance, being Deceit and Remus.
