A tip for Aurora with the books is to get a basket that she can have beside her bed so she can choose a few books each week or two from the higher shelves. That way she has easier access and it's like checking out books from her library. 😊

We have been renovating our lower-level house since November 2024, but it will take a few more months to finish. I understand how you feel about the remodeling.

Personally I’d put a new shower where the tub is that your ripping out then extend the closet over where the old shower is then you have a better layout and still have hookups for the washing machine

I think you should build two buildings.

1 with 4 fully individual apartments and the other for the shop and storage. The storage space, apart from the shop. So the mess of things doesnt take space from the shop. And so you can save money, intead of paying for storage at another place. And it is close, so you dont need to rent U-haul everytime you need to decorate for a season.❤

Crystal & Aaron, when u extend the fridge into the current walk in pantry, there will still be some room. U could make that a small laundry room.

Ik it would be like a lot but u should let each kid have there own color pin so that they can see where they have been and where they haven’t more easily. Plus like say Hannah wants to know where max has traveled then she can see his color and then be like wow so cool. Ik u would probably need like 20 different colors but they definitely make that many so all good😊

Holy that is incredible and lots of renos. I loved all your ideas except I would hate to lose all that lighting in my kitchen by removing the patio doors but I totally get it as I love lots of counter space too.
Bella will be moving to Uni very soon which will give more space as well. I love Hannah's room the most, and now she is an adult she can just use that door to come and go, she has everything in there that she needs. I wouldn't move if I was her it's way too expensive for young adults nowadays.

Keep in mind that you can either sell or give away thw stuff that you are removing like the cabinets and pantry and ceiling fans. Someone could always use them since their in good condition.
