My Favorite Art Journal Ever - Quick Flip Through

Combining all of the things I adore into one handmade art journal yielded my favorite art journal ever: creative book making, Watercolor for Relaxation, Watercolor Leaves and Florals, Messy Papers, underpapers, Wonky Bits, other mixed media art and of course, Imperfect hand lettering! For me personally, it just doesn’t get any better than this particular handmade art journal! If you are looking for ways to combine your love of watercolor painting with your love of messy mixed media and collage art, why not combine the two into one fun art journal?

The page with pink flowers and says there are days I feel weary touched my heart. Right now we have our very mentally ill son living with us. It gets painfully tiring. He’s destroyed our home. Granted it’s nothing drywall patch and paint won’t fix but it does feel suffocating at times. I feel desperately weary but know a day will come he will leave and I can get my home back but I want to make sure I don’t destroy the relationship in the meantime ..just enjoy the journey I guess and keep looking at the things that bring me joy. I literally started doing art because it brings me to a more peaceful place. I want my art and life to reflect Jesus and all he has brought me through along with my family and all they’ve gone through..thank you for sharing your beautiful art with us xoxoxox

I love this! I like that it incorporates fabric, stitching, watercolor and mixed media elements. I've never thought about fabric signature covers, that is brilliant! As someone who dislikes acrylic paint, I'm going to have to make something similar so I can get that art journaling vibe w/o the acrylic.
