OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition - My Opinion Need for Something Else!

OnePlus 6T McLaren Unboxing and my Opinions on OnePlus this is a new variant of the OnePlus 6T that comes with 10GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage and a new 30W fast charger and different packaging and presentation as it's a special edition.

Anyways guys do you think Oneplus should also have kept the OnePlus 6 on sale for a slightly discounted price, instead of discontinuing it after the launch of OnePlus 6T. Personally I feel in some aspects the OnePlus 6 was a better device and would have given the users a choice. Let me know your thoughts.

Ranjith sir, what you said here about increase in price of OnePlus devices is absolutely true, and LG is giving the G7 Thinq along with wireless charging, IP rating and other stuff with affordable amount. One plus should really consider about pricing and features in the future.

OnePlus has named it the McLaren edition. The McLaren cars are an example of British engineering expertise. The McLaren P1 has an aura about it inspite of not being the fastest sports car. This phone is an insult in the name of engineering. It has nothing groundbreaking. The only thing groundbreaking about this phone was its price and probably the charging speed (the software is also an honourable mention) both of which donot hold in the current scenario. It's boasting speed everywhere inspite of having a now old Snapdragon 845 when 855 is globally launched. 10 GB ram has no ulility in day to day usage. Oppo has a better tech for fast charging. What is the boasting for speed about??? Oneplus is no Samsung or Apple or Google. If it tries to aim that high with that higher price tag then it is loosing the core reason the company was founded. They are paving a way from OnePlus to OneMinus.

I feel this video misses the point. The McLaren edition isn't supposed to be an upgraded version of the 6t; it is a special edition. The whole point of a special edition is not to provide a completely new or different experience but to have a better appeal to a certain group of people (eg: McLaren fans). If value is what really matters to you, you can just buy the normal versions of the phone and get the same performance. But if you are a McLaren fan or just want a really unique phone, you wouldn't mind spending the extra money (this is how most special and limited editions work).
