Oneplus has Smart Boost, where they use the RAM as storage to speed up loading speed of the most used apps. That way the 10GB can be used quite nicely. So it's not all marketing in my opinion.

It should have been a dark grey colour. With the orange accent it would have looked better.

I feel that this is a missed opportunity for OnePlus. They could have blasted full on with a high-end 6T phone by carrying the McLaren name. Maybe the reappearance of the headphone jack, a wireless charging back, a bigger battery maybe, or one more camera on the back, etc. It would be awesome, and a sure bestseller in my opinion. Love the black and orange subtle combi.

Great video. It’s all about marketing and they have teamed up with makers of a very fast car and yes their phone is a very fast phone. What I like about it is they aren’t charging too much money like Apple would do if they were partnering with someone else. The orange edge looks good. Would I buy it? No I think the Thunder Purple looks much much better

I've got to say that it is my favourite looking phone this year. I love the subtlety of the design - it's a beautiful phone. And unlike some of the other collaborations we've seen, which had huge price jumps, for a relatively small extra expense you are getting a unique looking device with a couple of extra features thrown in.

If they had added wireless charging, I would be waiting by my computer with my wallet at the ready for sales to open up. As it is, I'm a little more reluctant to part with my money for one.

But I'm still considering it...
