English voters know nothing about Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland

The Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish assemblies are a vital part of British democracy but many people in London seem completely unaware of their existence and can't name the first ministers running these parliaments.

We've been out on the streets talking to voters about how important it is to maintain the union of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and whether they need to find out more about the countries neighbouring England.

The current population of LONDON generally know little about the rest of England, never mind the rest of the UK

You know, in this case, I'd say English people not knowing the first ministers and devolved paraliments is more of a codemnation on the educational system here in England and the media coverage of all the devlvoved paraliments

To be fair, a decent amount of them knew the Scottish first minister and the ones who didn’t probably just don’t take a interest in politics at all. I’m Scottish and I didn’t know the Welsh first minister until I began researching politics a bit more

In my experience, a significant proportion of the population of London, know very little about LONDON outside their own local area.

4:55 : "And they're part of this country - *and they should stay that way* "

That's a typically Anglo-centric view : telling us Celts to know our place - and not to get above our station...

I mean it’s hardly surprising. Londoners are still in shock to believe that there is life outside the capital.

I remember the first time i watched this i was so pissed off with all these people for not knowing but on a second watch i feel like its more a comment on how little they educate English people about the other parts of Britain. I’m welsh and English peoples lack of knowledge on the history of oppression for the welsh and the Scottish at the hands of England is a further insult if we are really meant to be ‘united’ and they want both our country’s to stay and begin to respect England they need to show a greater effort of unity and understanding

The last bit was my favourite. Arrogance, self entitlement and ignorance all rolled into one short clip.
