My fiance's dad works as a private contractor for tech companies and makes a good amount of money doing it. He said in 2000 he was offered a 100k salary for a position he was applying to, which he refused for being way too low. He has been offered a similar position today at that same 100k salary and asked the guy if he was being serious 😂
The price increase for things does not match the wages people are making today compared to the last several decades.
