Sad part is most these kids had parents with them. I heard so many parents this year say things like “remember, just take one!” Or “we have to make sure there’s enough for others!”. In fact one parent explained gently to their toddler “if we take more than one, that means another little kid won’t get that piece and won’t have any candy”.
