The bit with the snowplow going by and blocking the freshly shovelled driveway happened to my dad, too. He immediately called the city to get them to come back and now plow our blocked driveway, and they did!

I like how everybody seen the huge wave coming in and waited untill the last moment to start moving away from it 😂

If you wanna see if it's cold enough to stick without actually sticking your tongue to a pole, you can just lick your finger and press it against the pole, it'll have the same effect and not nearly as painful.

5:38 The one guy was really smart. He ducked underwater before the wave hit, so he didn’t get directly hit by the force of the wave, which would’ve hit pretty hard.

I live in Kansas and one thing with the storms is that when it goes flat dead on the wind instantly along with the calm weather, YOU TAKE COVER FAST. That little trick has saved my hide and others time and time again. Had one twister come close to a place I worked at and just grazed it to where the loading docks and the backside of the stockroom where completely wrecked and we had to shut down for several days to clean up and take a damage assessment.

That sucked on so many levels due to the fact the frozen truck was in the dock at the time and it was fully loaded. (It had a stench worse than a cattle truck on a hot day after the event.)

4:51 It was just Mother Nature wanting to wish the married couple a wet wedding day! Look, she even waved!

Can we all take a moment to analyse how immaculate the "nope, i'm out" that bro in the front at 5:36 was when the wave came crashing over the rocks?

4:00 I actually had that happen to me a few times. Since I live in the Midwestern US, the weather where I live is known for, occasionally, throwing hissy fits, but those “occasions” happen more often than they do elsewhere.

I remember this one time I had slushy snow in late spring (but I can’t remember exactly), and I was the one to scoop it up. Fortunately, the “slushiness” made it extra easy to shovel.

Although it's extremely rare nowadays, some vehicles have engines that are equipped with a snorkel, an engine snorkel is just a long pipe connected to the air intake of the engine, it is placed higher up and shielded against water to allow the engine to have a reliable source of oxygen even in the case of a flood.
Worse imagine being trapped in the runaway porta-potty!

Thank God our snow plows have a side plow that actually removes the snow and sets it on the grass.

This was absolutely astounding! I've been known as weatherwitch since the mid 1990s so this has been the perfect video 😉😂❤ Seeing those huge shipping containers going over like childrens building blocks was amazing, nature is both phenomenal and terrifying in what it does 😮
