When this was popular on the radio, I have a memory of my late Aunt singing this to my baby cousin when she was eating oatmeal. Silly, I know, but a sweet memory. 😢

I’m certainly no vocal coach but he has great pitch and a killer vibrato. It’s odd hearing a Raggae song sung more like a pop or R&B song — I don’t know if I’ve heard the original — but Nash certainly pulls it off. I’m going to have to go find the original now. (The horns are interesting. I’ve heard a lot of songs like this since I’ve been to the Caribbean and areas around there. But I only remember in that musical genre guitar, drums, bass and maybe Xylophones? I think that’s what they’re called.)

I'm picky about Bob Marley covers because very few get it right. He got it right.
