Originally CSX 2721 Was A Ex Conrail Unit Number 8053 It Was First Built For The Penn Central Railroad In 1973 Sold To Conrail In 1977 Repainted Into CSX YN3 Paint In 2006 Sadly The Unit Is In Storage In Cumberland Maryland With Other GP38-2 Locamotives And Some SD70MAC Units Mostly If They Broke Down Or Retired From CSX

There are a few things that tell you this is an ex Conrail. The marker lights, ditch lights mounted under the porch, and the cab mounted horn, which were fairly common back in the 2000s.

Came here looking to see what kinds of warning stickers or decals were used on something that was finished. I've got a couple of N scale locos I'm repainting to CSX, one is a GP38-2, and the big decals are easy to place, but I want to put those warning decals too that you see all over the side, I just don't know where they go. The detail you get in these shots is great, so thanks!

Hi Craftyfoxe i saw in california A 2nd paint scheme for the amtrak surfiliner train. the collors were yellow and black.
