Lou Gramm, born Louis Andrew Grammatico on May 2, 1950, in Rochester, New York, is an American rock singer-songwriter best known as the lead vocalist of the band Foreigner. Growing up in Rochester, Lou developed a passion for music at a young age and began performing in local bands during his teenage years. In 1976, Lou joined forces with guitarist Mick Jones to form the band Foreigner.

Foreigner quickly rose to fame in the late 1970s and early 1980s, becoming one of the most successful rock bands of the era.
