The best break down so far on YouTube, a lot of people watched the fight without noticing what really happened in the ring, it was a chess match between two very skillful fighters and not a brawl like we expected it to be it was not a fight for everyone it's was very technical

It’s was a very competitive match that I thought could’ve gone either way but credit to Madrimov for being patient and sticking to his plan, he also did well with the lead hook against Bud…and Bud did well attacking the body and sometimes going around with combinations against Madrimovs high guard…great on Crawford for being a 4 division champ…

Bud used Madrimov's desire to throw big punches against him by never setting down until the 10th round; after Madrimov's arms were tired from all of the upper body movement and hands held high in guard. About the 8th and 9th round you can see Madrimov's arms are tired from holding the tension for 8 rounds not letting his hands go. Bud realized it is a lot easier to move around in half guard and flick jabs then it is to feint and tense for big shots as Madrimov would do. Madrimov needs to lean a little more on accuracy and a little less on power we'll see if he can adjust to that. Bud might give him another go if the money is right. Bud isn't afraid to get hit that is why he looks so calm all the time, in boxing points are only scored for offense unlike other sports so over emphasis on defense can make a fighter seem to be disengaging or running from a fight even when they are trying to win. The reason Bud had such a long streak of knock outs was because he knew he could take the full punch of the 10 fighters prior to Madrimov.

A couple of things. Thanks for putting this together. It's always great insight. I wonder why your channel is being targeted. I've seen multiple channels post videos breaking down the fight. Some of these were literally the day after or hours. Why you? Next I would like to hear a boxer give an honest breakdown of what they're thinking in some of these fights. Like tell the truth, after you hit him with X and he didn't do B, did you step back and re-evaluate the situation?

This fight is exactly what I expected apart from I thought bud might knock him down/out late on. I didn’t find it to be particularly close but madrimov made it difficult for Bud. Great analysis of the exchanges and adjustments in game plan. This was a similar challenge to Canelo vs Bivol but I felt Bud did the business where as Canelo was soundly beaten.

Buds Jab was amazing....any time Mad tried to come in Bud would snap the jab and it landed at had to be careful for the haymakers. We can count how many combinations Mad had not many all because of the jab.
