I have had zero problems with the UI since the update. Works perfect, on live and TLPs, zero idea what your complaints are. Ui, imo is one of the best in all MMOs, i can custom make just about anything i want, and i dont need 3rd party addons(WoW addons) in order to play and the highest level.

I don't understand how a UI can be so hard to implement when they do development work on so many games. It's basically just a jpg with truetype fonts overlaid.

Can’t disagree more, Oakwynd is so much fun and I have 2 120’s on live. I won’t be going back to live. Enjoyed your opinions though

All jokes aside, starting the video with a silly skit is a really good way to hook the viewer. I've been having fun on Oakwynd, my first TLP!

I don't understand all the disdain for FTE.
I've had very few bugs with it, mostly aggro dropping on long pulls with constrained pathing.
On the plus side of FTE they've greatly reduced KSing, powerleveling(P2W), and training.
The only people FTE is bad for are griefers, and that in itself is a good thing.

Thoroughly enjoying Oakwynd. From the perspective of a returning player who stopped around LDON, the changes they've implemented on Oakwynd are very good ones.

New UI Engine -- yeah, we're the beta testers.

Oakwynd -- Very popular TLP server so far. All I see on the public chat channels on the server are auctions of gear, and power leveling. (Yes, even with FTE power leveling is happening). The FTE mechanics are a nice attempt at a new way to manage kill stealing, trains, etc., but it has bugs too. Was not tested fully and honestly not asked for by the players. Does it stop kill stealing? Yeah, some. But people have figured out how to get around it too.

DirectX 11 API -- FINALLLY?!?! We'll see if they get it delivered. Seems odd they push out the UI changes before they add in DirectX


What to worry about: Next year is the 25th is that going to be celebrated? Just another anniversary? It should be HUGE, but at the going pace, seems like a speed bump. I do expect several "new and fun" TLP's...ofc. Whatever that will be.

I don't know the technical terms, but your mic sounds better here. That edge of the pitch (lol, idk what it was) in your earlier videos is gone. Enjoy your content!

I feel like they are tackling some bloat AAs, but mainly to increase raid performance (which, based on the forums, hasn't really happened yet). The problem with huge overhauls is always the "if we change this, what unforeseen bug is going to pop up" and with the skeleton crew I am assuming they are running it's just not a priority. DX11 is scary and so was 64 bit, but fingers crossed!!

I honestly can't believe how much time they spent on "improving" the UI while it still looks so much worse. My inventory fonts are so blurry it's hard to read them on a 34" monitor.
