I wanted this tent because of easy setup and a safe ladder. I’m 75 years old and bought a rooftop tent 2 days ago (early April 2025). I couldn’t fit this one in my garage so had to go for a different brand. Looking at adding rails to my steps similar to this model. More of us oldies would buy RTTs if they were easy to get in and out of. I already have a really good off-road caravan and this is just for those tracks where towing is discouraged.

Another one for Bundatec. I chose this one because all 4 window’s are also door. Due to the built in awning you can have the windows open in the rain for airflow.

For reasons unknown, there is a consistent theme here; the length. I’m 190cm + and most length opening RTT’s are too short

ARB will have done their research. They clearly think there is a market for this unit despite its weight and price.

The first thing I see wrong here is; the way the Anderson plug is mounted. It should be flushed with base.

Second issue: the plastic shell will crack overtime. Or get scratched really easily.

And lastly: to open to tent does take ages.

And for the money ARB want for this tent. There are way better setups out there.

I reckon the look and layout is the arb tent, it would be great if you could test it under a sprinkler system to see how water proof it is, but otherwise it gets my vote, just got to save up for $8, 000 and that a few biscuits.good video guys.

The biggest downside is going to be the weight of 100kg. Plus, roof rack and solar panels. There is a lot to carry up on top of a vehicle. Price around $7500 depending on location. Thanks for the reviews on this.

It's appealing towards the range rover the people with status but you can use it with a different ladder i wished yall had some high winds fans to test wind noise and a sprinkler system to test for rain sounds, its in the ikamper and James baroud tent price the main question is is it worth spending that kind of money for only little use i think it needs a rain awning a place for shoes that ladder make is easier for animals to climb but i am a lover of arb product like the earth travel trailer but 50k ouch 😊

Is it me, how are you going to remove that ladder when it is up in your roof? I think that is bulky unless you have the RTT very low. But honestly, I love that staircase for older generation. If you guys know how fun it is to go up and down at night.

See if you can get a Bundatec Bundatop. Also electric, but I reckon that would be an interesting comparison (and better mattress).

$7300 this time. Seems like ur only reviewing the most expensive tents on the market. Ironically, the people that can afford that end of the market are more use to five star hotels than shitting in a hole.
