I was SHOCKED at how difficult it was to find maternity clothes even on amazon it’s very limited styles just different people selling the same stuff in different colors almost impossible to find anything in store

I’m 30 weeks today and I’ve personally done most of my pregnancy clothes shopping on SHEIN. I know, they promote fast fashion but they’re cheap and have more options than most stores.

Ad1 - I have pregnancy eczeme, so polyester is a no-no for me. I can tell you, cotton maternity clothes are as unicorns...
Ad2 most of my choices are between horizontal stripes (why, really?!) and some kind of color compositions which reminds me of my morning sickness outcomes...
Ad3 Maternity sewing patterns are also VERY limited.
Ad4 Leggings and some oversized T-s are no go for work.
... It's really a struggle. Spring/summer outfits might be easier.

Just buy a beach dress that is a size bigger than you usually wear. Worked out well for me.

That's why I don't wear maternity clothes except for the leggings... I can look a lot younger and smaller in a large graphic tee plus it's cuter. Sometimes I'll put a dress on if I wanna show off my bump

It’s simple if you don’t like what the maternity style is and you make your own clothing, that’s pretty straightforward the point of maternity clothing because not everybody who’s pregnant wear maternity clothing that’s one thing that multiple probably should know that just buy clothing a little bit bigger than their actual size that they were before they were pregnantis that it’s not gonna have any shape it’s gonna be lifeless because no two people are the same when they’re pregnant just the way it works

Maybe we should stop wanting to look like a teenage boy to be “fashionable” and accept what a pregnant body looks like. It is curvy!!!! And an outfit that flows over curves is what’s needed.

Maternity clothes are 90% empire waist which is not flattering and very much is tent like to fit the masses, nothing really flattering.
