a bowl in the kitchen seems like a story with a sad but blazingly clear message, its interesting to play from the assaulters POV.

i loved the ‘a bowl in the kitchen’ one bc that is the exact ‘genre’ of horror that i’ll sometimes make scenarios of in my head and idk how to explain it but it’s really haunting. idk if it has a name but i personally call it “realization horror” and that game captures it perfectly, its like suddendly realizing/finding out something and being paralyzed with fear with goosebumps all over your neck. i love how the audio at the end has a really dull voice but it’s suddenly really loud, the text appears red and it keeps repeting as it zooms in into the object of interest. THATS EXACTLY WHAT IVE BEEN LOOKING TO SEE IN A GAME OR MOVIE FOR SO LONG OMG. I just HAD to comment this because that scene has been repeating in my head since ive watched this video and it captures that feeling perfectly

A bowl in the kitchen is so unique, you get more and more confused of why after every disturbing message it says “ABOWLINTHEKITCHEN”, until it builds up to the final message, and the words fit into the sentence. more and more suspense kicks in. Starts as confusion, you slowly build up more realisation of what happened, until the final message brings the story together. “I keep what’s left of her in… A BOWL IN THE KITCHEN.” So damn creepy, we need more horror games that don’t copy things that have already been made.

Personally, for the bowl in the kitchen, it's blaming you(ofc)and telling you what you did. A bowl in the kitchen referring to what you did and that you put something in it that caused this game to start making you feel guilty for what you've done. It's belittling you and making you know that what you did will forever stick with you. The constant repeat at the end is like what your brain does when you've done something that makes you filled with anxiety or fear.
'Why would you touch it after what you've done? ' is making you feel like you don't deserve to touch anything after killing the supposed victim.

i really liked when he changed the lighting in his studio to a darker dimmed tone to match the tension of the horror game, especially in the simulation part. you should do this again with more horror-related games! keep up the work ❤

The abowlinthekitchen game was literally so cool imo, the slowed down voice and the repeat of the name makes it SO unnerving and interesting!
