IB Math: Binomial and Normal Distribution

However some advice maybe keep like a set of example sums you can solve for different situations.

I have a excercise that wants me to solve with binomial for exact probability for n trails. But then to also find mu and sigma to do a approximate normal distribution. My question is..why make a approximate normal dist. if I just can use the binomal dist. to supposedly get the exact probability?
