One of the best adaptations of a Stephen King novel. Very unsettling and underrated. Ian McKellen is superb.

I just watched this movie last night and it blew me away. The fact that it was distributed by classic 90s Tristar alone is what changed my whole outlook when watching the movie from the start. That made it hit closer to home for me than it should’ve. That’s what it made it so much more different to me than other Stephen King movies. It just feels so much more different. I think that extra layer of cinema sentimentality for a company in a certain era is what made this film so much more unshakable to me. I mean this is the same logo that came before Matilda for crying out loud. This is a King film that’s certainly sticking with me.
