Vision Timesji, Sri Ram did not leave Lanka the day after killing Ravana. Ravan was cremated, then Vibheeshana was crowned, then Sita was informed about the victory, then comes Sita walking through fire, and then Vibheeshna gave a huge feast and gifts to the vanar sena, etc. etc. Rama spent days in Lanka while Vibheeshana and the Vanar sena celebrated. Sri Ram and party travelled to Ayodhya via a plane, not on car. Even after boarding the plane, Rama stopped at Kishkindha to pick up the women folks of his vanara solders. Rama also stopped at the Ashram of Sutheeshna and spent a night there. The distance and time involved in the travel as per Google map is by car. So, the comparison of 20 days you had indicated does not make any sense. When writing about scriptures, please refrain from exaggeration because people will lose faith.

The route shown is the best walking distance recommended by Google
It doesn't conclude that Prabhu Sri Ram went in the same route and there is no mention (as far as I know) that the travel time was 20 days. Ram had coronated Vibhishan as the king before leaving Lanka so we can't be 100% sure

The route appears to be wrong. There are many sites in Kerala which signifies Rama's path.

Srilanka is not ravana lanka... according to padma puran and valmiki puran distance between south tip of jambu dweepa and ravana lank is 100 yojanas(1 yojana means around 12km) so it should be around 1200 km journey in sea... just think to construct a bridge for 30km why would they require lakhs of vanaras

Google Maps shows that it takes 20 days to travel from Ayodhya to Anuradhapura if you travel Non-Stop.
Are you saying Rama travelled Non-Stop????

Rama is the Lord and assume he can walk day and night non stop, But other folks following him are not with divine power. How can a man walk for 21 days without sleep, meals break, bathing, Morning rituals lie Sandhyavandanam etc... I do not believe this 21 days logic. Even if by magical airplane, was Pushpaka Vimana similar to C-17 carrier of mordon day to carry those many people? Wrong logic altogether.
