Great haul. Not sure if you are interested in reading another story about the Indian Ocean Tsunami but Wave by Sonali Deraniyagala is one of my all time favorite memoirs. :) - I am ready to come over and read by the fire in my paper crown!

Walls Come Tumbling Down sounds like the perfect present for one of my best friends... Since their Christmas present if already under their tree I'll need to get my hands on it for their birthday!

Pax looks gorgeous. I love a book with a fox on the cover. Flamingo Land looks wonderful, sounds incredible too. That Jean at Book Break is a good'en isn't she? Great haul. I'm having a small book binge before the end of the year I think.

This is London sounds perfect!!!:) I love such stories, like Humans of New York does it so well.

I've read Pax. Listened to it. It's a good book indeed.:)

I own The Universe in your Hand. Would love to read it as soon as possible. But I've been tired lately and I need some light little reads at the moment.

Happy reading to you!

I read Pax earlier this year and I thought it was wonderful . The other books in your haul look interesting.
Trees are bad knitters because they are always dropping their needles.

Good luck to complete your challenge. I've just finished Tsunami Kids by Ghandi flip flop brothers. I have come across their charity food at at music festivals so was pleased to support their book.:-)

I am on 188 books for the year, with five more to be finished by Friday. Last year I managed 200 books for the first time ever. Here's to hoping we both reach our goals of 200!

Wow, congrats on being so close to 200 books this year, that's quite an accomplishment! I'm at 99 right now, pretty certain I can get at least one more in by the 31st.

The joke (?) is probably something about 'dropping needles'

Loved this video! You rocked that party hat. 😀 Pax is ridiculously beautiful. I think that will have to be a Christmas present to myself. If you are looking for any fiction about the tsunami, I would recommend a 2016 book that didn't get half as much attention as it should have done: They Are Trying to Break Your Heart by David Savill.
