Aliens: Fireteam Elite - 9 Easter Eggs and References

Aliens: Fireteam Elite not only has the authentic visual and sound effects from the series, but it also comes loaded with some great Aliens easter eggs to find. There are even cool little nods to other films and even games from the Alien universe, too. Here's what we found!

From the famous Aliens power loader to David's flute in Prometheus and a ship from Alien: Covenant, Aliens: Fireteam Elite comes with tons of easter eggs and references to the Aliens series. There are even some brilliant emotes like Bishop's knife trick and references to some of Corporal Hicks' famous quotes.

Your colonel, Olivia Shipp, is the main protagonist of the 2019 novel, Alien: Echo.

Ironically, you're also part of Echo Company.

Also they mentioned "Beautiful Butterfly" which is a quote of Dr Gediman when he saw the Newborn from Resurrection. There's also a dialogue in the mission 5 where we will see first time a head statue of Engineers and thought it an executive statue of Wey-Yu and asking Esther "Esther Are you seeing this ?" Then Esther replied "Yes, curious" is a reference when Elizabeth Shaw when came out of Transport car first time near the cave and asked "Prometheus are you seeing this ?" to Capt. Janek.

Surprised you didn’t mention that the highest difficulty quotes Bill Paxton on his best line “ It’s Game Over!”

The game also mentions the Union of Progressive Peoples, who were originally in a rough draft script of Alien 3 before being scrapped, and later made their debut in the DS game Aliens: Infestation. The game also has a challenge called "Beautiful Butterfly" which is a reference to a quote from Alien: Resurrection.

A challenge card names"stay away from her" is actually reference to Ripley says while facing the queen in alien 2, the target is all crew survive in last level while queen chasing you

In one of the missions, there are turrets which are identical to those used in a deleted scene exclusive to the special edition of Aliens. Just like in the movie they've run dry of ammo when you get there. Unlike the movie though you can refill them and they help out in the fight. They're much bigger than other turrets you can deploy in the game.

I'm almost certain the headshot sound effect is reference to Hicks "eat this!" scene when the alien sticks it's head through the door.

Theres a magazine sat ontop of acrate on the gift of fire mission recon that talks about the disappearance of the prometheus expedition which is kinda cool
