- If you choose to side with Faravid, he will be banished from Jorvik by Halfdan. Halfdan will tell you to leave.

- If you choose to side with Halfdan, he will kill Faravid and you will become allies with Halfdan.

The report to Randvi seems to be the same in both solutions. Eivor tells her that Halfdan is now king: “I entered Eurvicscire to meet Halfdan Jarl, an I left a friend of Haldfan the King. We have an oath at last.”
