Golf 5 GTI Edition30 vs. Golf 7R

it's pretty easy, engine in mk5 edition 30 is the same as the golf R mk6, if you map it you are around 310 bhp, so with a simple stage 1 you can keep up with a golf R.
IF the gti was stage 2+ you could look at 360-370 bhp that would detroy the mk7 R.

so, the gti is stage 1 and golf R stock or the gti is stage 2+ and the golf R is stage 1 period.

Naja also ehrlich. Auf diesen Vergleich kann man ja nicht wirklich gehen. Erst im Baustellenbereich und dann war danach auch wieder beschränkt. Da gibt keiner Vollgas.
