COVID-19 deaths, cases continue to rise in U.S.

The number of new coronavirus cases is rising across the country as the death toll approaches 200,000 in the U.S. Infectious disease experts are criticizing a reversal to critical guidance from the CDC on how COVID-19 spreads. David Begnaud reports.

My mother works on the covid floor of a large hospital in Virginia. Shes there 5 days a week. She said since March she only knows of 1 person that has died while on the floor. He was 90 years old. Maybe there dying when they get home, but she says she doesnt see where all the deaths are.

The numbers are false. I have a friend who went to get tested. They signed up filled out the info and the place was taking to long so they left before they got tested. And guess what they got a call saying they were positive. 🤷🏻‍♂️

My brother knows people who are contracted with hospitals to do a variety of specialized tasks and they're not getting work anymore. Yes the numbers of infected continue to rise because of increased testing, but the amount of people hospitalized or dying is lower than ever. This can be seen in the numbers for Los Angeles as an example
