MuseScore - Changing Key Signatures of Transposing Instruments

If you have a version of MuseScore older than 3.5, this will not work. If you want your transposing instruments to read in an enharmonically equivalent key signature instead of what MuseScore defaults to, here is how. If you have questions, please leave a comment.

I'm having a problem with musescore. I had changed the key signatures and everything but the notes did not change. Now I don't really have any music theory knowledge so idk if the notes aren't supposed to change or what.

That worked out well! Now my composition project will be no problem! Thanks Anna!

How can you have different instruments with different key signatures? I've been trying to do that and for some reason Musescore doesn't let me. I'm working on a piece that has flute and guitars, but the flute is on B major, and one of the guitars is suppose to be on A major, however, I can't get Musescore to do that.
