Asphyxiation - Live at the Lifticket Lounge [Full Demo - 1987]

Asphyxiation were a speed/thrash metal band from the USA and were active from 1986 to 1987. In their short lifespan, the band only released 2 demos.
Being a live show the production is bound to be sloppy and gritty, but the band still kicks some ass if you are a fan of early Slayer or Sodom, Hallows Eve and any kind of 80's speed/thrash. It really is one of those bands that were there while the genres were still being set appart - the speed metal side is prevalent and present in every riff, but the thrash attitude and aggression already pops out in every song.
It's always interesting to listen to music from when boundaries were still being set between genres, all those influences mixed and without any guideline as to "do this for X genre".
