I like the over dyed threads using the loop method, also. It gives a lovely depth to the colors without the streaky look. For vines, I always use the matched two threads, and when I want a house or barn to suggest siding. Otherwise, the effect of the mix really looks nice.

Great Livestream today...watched the reply! Kimberly you and your team are just...the Best! Excited to hear more new things for Maynia...I’m just getting back into stitching after about a 25 year hiatus so Maynia is very new for me. Hopefully if there is a stitch-along involved you consider a downloadable chart...I’m in Canada and not only do downloads save on the shipping charges but it gets the chart out right away! I voted for overcast for Kimberly but I would do it on the oatmeal. That finished piece jumps out at me. Will be using DMC threads. Love it.
