2020 tohatsu 6hp part 1

First impression looks promising. Onlineoutboard delivered in three days, I purchased sail pro prop with it for 80$.
Idles at 1170 in neutral 1100 in gear.

You mentioned that you can tilt the motor only when it's in forward gear, I think the reason is to avoid the motor to tilt when it's on the reverse gear.

She starts in the 2nd pull now. I don't drain my carb, but it's run every week. Coming up to 100 hours already.

3 point storage is a big improvement. However the 2019 lettering and motor cover looked better.

I just got one of these too, also from the same place. Im Getting ready to head out in a couple hours. Have you figured out the cold start? This is my 3rd Tohatsu and all were great cold starters. This one wore me slap out the first cranking. I’m hoping that was just because of first crank. Thanks for the vid!
