ODMAP: Utilizing Technology to Harness Data, Accelerate Action, and Save Lives.

This video is a presentation by Aliese Alter, ODMAP Senior Program Manager for the National Association of County Health Officials (NACCHO) Annual Conference held virtually in July 2020.

In this presentation, Aliese gives an overview on how states and locals can utilize data, analytics, and GIS embedded within ODMAP to better understand and improve population health. Aliese will also discuss lessons learned relating to data governance and policies involving data sharing between a diverse user group of public health and public safety. Lastly, Aliese will discuss best practices of integration and interoperability between ODMAP and state/local Record Management Systems (RMS).
