Excellent comparison video! This confirms my speculation from MrWhoseTheBoss' test where the Antutu graphics test killed the battery on the iPhone 12's due to the improved graphics performance with the A14. No wonder why they limited the graphics performance compared to the iPad Air 4..

Iphone 11pro got 3.5 hours last year in the gaming test. Now it got 6 hours. So hopefully iphone 12s get optimized like the 11s.

Hang on... The iphone 11 line up has a bigger battery. Almost all of the other tests made by other people show 11 out lasting the 12. And the total screen on time is about 6 to 7 hours... Something is seriously off here...

Also, why blur the battery indicators of the phones you are testing? What is the purpose of that?

I got the 12 last week, and actually I get almost two days of use (5h a days of screen time). Yesterday with 8 hours of screen time (most of it was Amazon app) at 10 pm I had 30% left. When I first played Cod mobile the battery was "bad", but if you go into the settings and set a lower graphics it works great (something like 1-2% every 10min) and it doesn't get that hot!

Very strange that my 11 Pro with the battery down to 96% still outlives my brand new 12 Pro with exactly the same apps and usage behavior. True that I DFU Mode reset the 11 Pro with Itunes as it is known that the IOS 13 to 14 upgrade brings battery drain issues. Did you do the same before this test ?

Last year 11s lasted 3 hours as well on the 3D gaming test. Would you say it might be an optimization issue that will be fixed?

Last year you did the same test for iphone 11 and 11 pro where the 3d gaming score was 3.48hr(11pro) and 3.39hr(11). How come this year 3d gaming test scored 6.38hr(11 pro) and 7.37hrs (11)? Something is wrong I guess!

Let me go ahead and save all of you apple haters some time lol. If you look at the old video iPhone 11 Pro did poorly when it was released in regards to gaming. However, once optimized iphone 11 pro now gets double battery life in games due to better optimization with IOS and the a13 chipset. It’s funny because it seems a lot of tech reviewers suddenly forget this. The A14 chipset is new and just like 11 pro and XS phone variants, optimization will definitely fix these problems. People please stop being clueless and do your own research.
