No joke, I misheard a couple of lines in the original Star Wars (1977), when I was 7 or 8 years old (can't remember if I saw it right away or during the holdover):

Ben Kenobi: Instead of the real line, "The Jundland Wastes are not to be traveled lightly", I thought he said, "A gentleman wastes enough to be traveled, likely" 🤣 Hey, who would expect these esoteric proper names George Lucas made up out of the blue?

Luke Skywalker: Instead of the real line, "You fought in the Clone Wars?", I naturally thought he said, "You fought in the colonial wars?" Hey, at that point, who ever heard of a _clone war_ ?
