Frankly, Guy is not at all close to me as a judge. But he is a cool performer and a good coach for the participants.

fact is that image is a big thing in the music industry, it aint all just about music, its about the MV too. But it's not that Guy didnt fit the image of a popstar, i mean there are lots of dark skin fellas on MTV (we watch lots of American stuff in AU back then too), so i reckon it's more to do with racism regarding those record label execs.. but luckily the public don't think like those music execs.
