Working Lego Turbo (Volume Warning)

This isn’t sealed yet, and I think I will try to 3D print a compressor stage at the end to add more power to the engine. For right now, it just sounds cool.

For everyone saying this isn’t a turbo, please read the description. I am planing to 3D print a working turbo, but I am having some issues with my printer.

Add more gears in decreasing increments. 24-tooth to 20-tooth, 16- to 12- to 8-tooth. That'll get you a stronger, more stable turbine

Not just a turbo, but a perfect way to demonstrate how some pneumatic tools work, like an air powered angle grinder.

A turbo is a compressor. This just drives a wheel and tire. It’s a pneumatic motor. You could hack this into a LEGO die grinder pretty easily, though.

It reminds me of these old elementary school days blowing through a gel pen with its refill removed onto spindle gears of used-up correction tapes and enjoying the revving up turbo sound during class break

Turbine, a turbo has a compressor housing and a turbine housing, you have no compressor housing only the turbine housing....

Good Progress, But this isn't a turbo. It is an Air Turbine Motor, and the basis of pneumatic tools. Don't give up, Keep thinking, make the motor drive a compressor, boom youre there.

Maybe put a cap on that and an air exit hole at the size you want it to exit from, maybe a clear cap if you want to see it run. More air that pushes against the gear teeth rather than just leaving through the open hole.

so this actually isnt a turbo as seen as in a car. its very cool made but a car turbo just adds more air to the engine. idk if you tried to make a car turbo or not but still very cool!
