Ree Drummond’s Family Secretly Moved + Now We Know Why

Ree Drummond moved in December and we didn’t even know about it until now! With only their youngest son Todd now at home, the almost empty nesters decided it was time to downsize. So where are they now? Here’s a hint…it’s not far..and it’s not the style I expected.

In the interview she shared that the home was actually the one Ladd grew up in and was nearly 50 years old. They didn't go far, building a smaller home on their property. The Pioneer Woman shares that they plan to turn it into a guest house at some point.

"When we build our main house, we're only doing one or two bedrooms, so it's not going to be a big mega house. But right now, we're happy in the guest house. And this may be our 'house, house' for the time being. It's very comfortable and again, simple. We had to be very selective about what we brought here."

I love Ree and her family I feel like I’ve watched her kids grow up in front of me. How great it will be for them when they have kids to go over their growing up and show their kids. I loved all the family gatherings it must be sad for lad having lost his mother and other family members. But still a wonderful record to look back on. Keep doing what you do best Ree be yourself. ❤️🇬🇧

I love Ree Drummond and her show. We even visited the set, her shops and restaurants. But I prefer the original show.

I went to Pawhuska a few years ago and visited the lodge where the show is filmed. Pawhuska is an hour away from Tulsa, in the middle of no where. I really enjoyed the trip, had lunch in The Drummond restaurant and store and saw the town.
The Drummond helped to make famous their town by building a B & B, a pizza shop, an ice cream shop, their restaurant, and who knows what else. The Drummond own a great deal of land there. It took a while to get their from NY, but it was worth.
I also went to Waco, Tx and saw the Magnolia store and restaurant, but didn’t like it as much as Pawhuska, OK.
Waco needs a lot of development.

I am so GLAD 😊 that the film crew is coming back!!! I am thrilled, not I don't like seeing her with her kids, but the shows lost the professionalism. It was fun for the time, but I am thrilled to hear they are coming back!!! JOYFUL.

Building a house on a huge property that already has a house and a lodge on it, deciding to make the new one a guest house, and then live in it while building your “real” house are rich people decisions for sure.

I like this entire family. Yes, their mega rich and own thousands of acres of land, but they just seem very down to earth and real.

I’m wondering if when the crew comes back, will the ranch segments begin again. I miss those shows.

The weather conditions age a house quickly. Not to mention the need to replace pipes, electrical and insulation. As someone who is trying to save a house built in the 70's I have spent 10000 dollars and have not even touched the electrical or insulation in issues. That it just lighting, adding fans, and flooring and paint. ( Not even flooring by replacement but carpets tear out and wood floors refinished) Would change to a newer place on my property if I could in a heartbeat.
